Benalmadena Bil Bil castle
- Located on the sea front to the West of the Marina.
- Bil Bil castle is both an iconic land mark and attraction.
- The red rust coloured painted building is in an arabic style.
- It is neither built by the Moors or is Old.
- Built in 1927 as a private residence for a rich familly. The father & son were both called william a called Bil by the builders, hence the name.
- Bought by the Town Hall. Now it is a social and cultural centre venue holding interesting exhibitions, events or concerts, weddings, etc.

Promenade walk to Torremolinos
- From the Benalmadena marina to the headland between Torremolinos Playa de la Carihuela and Playa del bajondillo takes around 30 minutes to walk
- Add another 10 minutes to reach either the steps below the watch tower (or lift) to the top of the cliff to the touristy Calle San Miguel the main pedestrian only street in Torremolinos

- The Church is located in the highest point of Benalmadena Pueblo town with Munro gardens are located on the hillside slopes below the church.
- There is a lift to the hilltop
Muro Gardens (jardines de Muro) in Benalmadena Pueblo
- The gardens are located on the steep south western slope beneath the Santo Dominica Church. A small stream cascades over the rock face and a couple of pools of water are at the base.
- From the viewing walkway (Mirador), behind the church, spectacular views are available from this high vantage point. On clear days the Atlas Mountains of Morroco in North Africa can be seen. There is a couple of drinking fountains and also a lift on the northern slope from the roadway below to the viewing area.

- The other remains is the Lintel Archof San Carlos, the Entrance to the Paper Mill Complex.

Colomares Castle (Castillo de Colomares)
- The Colomares Castle (Castillo de Colomares) in the town of Benalmádena was buitt as a tribute to Christopher Columbus and the discovery of America.
- Esteban Martín started to build the castle in 1987 & finished 7 years later
- You could imajine that this fairy tale castle was designed by Walt disney for one of his magical films

- The Benalmadena Stupa is the tallest one in Europe at a height of 33m
- A Stupa is a place for meditation. & represent Enlightenment, peace, prosperity and harmony
- Inside there is a 100 square metre meditaton hall
- Unusually it is painted white which fits in with Southern Spains Tradition see in the 'White Villages. This is unlike Stupas in the East where they are brighly painted.
- Entry is Free for the meditation hall but a small charge is made for entry into the crypt
