Figueretes Description

Figueretes is a liberal town that attracts families, mixed and same-sex couples alike. The resort offers a variety of restaurants and bars for all tastes and there's the Club Fiesta land complex in nearby Playa d' en Bossa for a touch of excitement.

Towards the eastern end just inland from the sea front is a hill, Puig des Molins which is topped by the Cenit hotel, several old windmills and private villas and housing. Because of this hill the easiest route to walk from Figueretes to Ibiza is to walk inland along either Calle Ramon Muntaner or Calle del Pais Basc then turn right along Avenida d 'Espanya

Visit historic Ibiza Town with its 13th-century cathedral and old fishermen's quarter. The 25-acre Club Fiesta land complex and Aguamar Water park are within easy reach of the resort.

Location of Figueretes

Situated on the southeast coast of the island, Figueretes is a narrow area that backs on to Figueretes beach and can be regarded as being a suburb of Ibiza Town which back this narrow stretch and continues to the east the location of Ibiza port & Marina.

Figueretes beach

Figueretes has a sandy crescent-shaped beach with a palm-fringed promenade, perfect for a romantic evening stroll.

There is a swimming pool located on the beach fairly centrally located

More Beaches near Figueretes

Cala d' en Bossa Beach

the Bora Bora beach is a very long huge expanse of golden sands and is easily accessible with regular buses from Figueretes, or is within walking distance about 20 - 30 minutes.

Load Music on the beach

For the more hardcore sun worshipper who want loud music on the beach be sure to visit the beach at Playa d' en Bossa by the Bora Bora beach bar which is next to the Jet apartments popular with the young crowd.

Salinas Beach

The magnificent Salinas Beach extremely popular with families has large car parking facilities and a bus service with only a very short walk tio the beach

Salinas Beach and the 2 Es Cavallet can be reached by the same bus directly from Figueretes

Es Cavallet Beach

Es Cavallet Beach is located on the opposite side of the V shaped peninsular

The Es Cavallet Beach is divided into 2 sections, the Es Cavallet gay beach and located nearer to Playa d' en Bossa is the very famous Es Cavallet Nude Beach

Salinas Beach and the 2 Es Cavallet can be reached by the same bus directly from Figueretes

Ferry Service & Beach Hopping ferries

There is a Ferry service or smaller Beach Hopping Ferry service which visits some of the beaches, Cala d' en Bossa Beach, Es Cavallet Beach, Formentera, Santa Eularia, and Ibiza.

  Shopping

There are a few supermarkets and souvenir shops selling fashion, and sports goods, but for a more impressive selection the surrounding Ibiza Town is within easy reach, making Figueretes a perfect base to experience all the shopping entertainment it's neighbouring town has to offer.

Banks

There are a few banks, cash machines and money change bureaus in Figueretes and lots in Eivissa only 15 minutes walk.  Most banks close for afternoon siesta.  Money and travelers cheques can be changes in most apartments and hotels but the exchange rate is not as good as banks.

You normally need your passport to change travelers checks

Nightlife

You'll find a good selection of bars, restaurants and evening entertainment. Visitors looking for a wilder night gravitate to the lively waterfront area of Ibiza Town 5km away.

Figueretes has a selection of good local restaurants serving international and traditional cuisine. Seafood restaurants serving the catch of the day are popular. Ibiza Town is close by for a little more choice.
